Biodegradable plastic packaging is challenging to achieve. However, there is an option besides expensive biodegradable polymers. EcoPure® is an additive masterbatch added to any conventional plastics, making them biodegradable. It can be integrated seamlessly into your manufacturing process and does not compromise product performance. Designed for a circular economy, EcoPure® does not affect recyclability or produce microplastic. This exciting technology is a new angle for creating biodegradable and sustainable plastic packaging.

Carolyn joined PlastiColors as their Technical Manager in 2017 after several years in the role of Territory Manager for Milliken & Company. Carolyn’s studied her Bachelor of Science Honours in Chemistry as well as her B-Tech in Polymer Technology. Carolyn previous work experience and roles have given her a wide exposure to the market base and technical processing and applications of PTFE, Engineering Polymers and Polyolefins and her wealth of knowledge has brought about some exciting challenges and opportunities to PlastiColors and its technical department.
